Sat 7th is National Threatened Species day in Australia.
It commemorates the day the last Thylacine died and its species sadly became extinct. We are ever aware of the destruction we have done and continue to do to our natural world....but this day can also be one to reflect; to acknowledge the good many are doing to save threatened and endangered species. Perhaps we can simply stop for a moment to appreciate our unique and quirky Australian flora and fauna... and think of ways we can help them survive.
